
Born in Bonn, Hendrik studied Media Design, Film and Photography at the Bauhaus University Weimar and Concordia University Montreal. His thesis film “Wassilys Feld” (co directed with Klaus Neumann) won the european price from the MDR 2009. He worked with commercial film production in Berlin and was a creative part of the documentary “Trouble - Teatime in Heiligendamm” which won the Cinema for Peace award 2008.
Hendrik lives as a freelance filmmaker and video journalist in Berlin. Besides documentary film projects he works for online media in publishing houses like Holzbrinck and Axel Springer. Since 2010 he also works regularly as a director and cameraman for VW in China.
